Overview
The Sr Technologist Olefinic Chemicals plays a crucial role in advancing the companys production and application of olefinic chemicals which are vital for numerous industrial processes. This position involves leveraging technical expertise and innovative approaches to enhance production efficiency optimize chemical processes and develop new applications. The incumbent will work closely with crossfunctional teams including R&D operations and quality assurance to ensure that all processes align with strategic goals and regulatory compliance. The Sr Technologist is expected to provide leadership mentorship and guidance to junior technologists and collaborate on problemsolving initiatives that improve product yield and quality. Additionally this role will require staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement within the department and the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects focused on the development and optimization of olefin production processes.
- Conduct detailed technical analyses to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Master s preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in olefinic chemical processes.
- Proven experience in process optimization and technical project leadership.
- Strong background in research and development within the chemical sector.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance related to chemicals.
- Experience in using data analysis tools for process improvement.
- Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSIS).
- Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in olefin chemistry.
