Job Description
As a Senior Consultant PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Automation Testing your responsibility would include designing and implementing automated testing strategies for PLM systems collaborating with development teams to ensure quality standards. Conducting test planning and execution and identifying and addressing software defects. Additionally you may be involved in creating and maintaining test scripts analysing test results and providing recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of PLM testing processes.
Your key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop test strategy/roadmap with other QAs (Quality Assurance) and our development teams in PLMCAD area.
- Develop and improve our Teamcenter/CAD automation strategy.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using Test management tool and test automation tool
- Creating and managing test concepts test set test plan test automation setup and execution.
- Create automated jobs to run inside Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Working with PLM team and assuring the product quality.
- Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action.
Qualifications :
What should you bring
- Graduated with bachelors degree or higher B.Tech. /B.E. computer science.
- Work experience: 5 8 years in Automation Testing.
- Good technical background with some professional experience desirable.
- Experience with any automation test tool like Selenium Worksoft certify Selenium QTP.
- Experience with different phases of testing like smoke regression system integration and E2E testing.
- Experience in automation test design using standard programming or scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira bitbucket etc.) are an added advantage.
- Knowledge about performance testing tool like JMeter is added advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD solutions e.g. Jenkins.
- You have an agile mindset and experience in agile working is an added advantage.
- You have good Analytic and problemsolving techniques with innovative ideas to bring process improvement.
- Knowledge of PLM Teamcenter application and CAD (NX AutoCAD etc) tool is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
