Guidewire Business Analyst
Budget: Up to 22 LPA
Location: Bengaluru Hyderabad Kolkata Pune Mumbai Chennai Gurugram
Employment Type: Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Business Analyst to join Deloittes dynamic team. This role involves analyzing business processes in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain driving solutions and contributing to impactful Guidewire projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analyze and document business needs.
- Examine and optimize P&C insurance processes including Commercial Auto Business Owners Workers Compensation and Personal Insurance (e.g. Personal Auto and Homeowners).
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend industrystandard solutions.
- Work on Guidewire projects ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Leverage tools like SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Technology Finance or related fields.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA) is a plus.
Experience:
- 4 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes such as underwriting claims management policy administration and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in Guidewire projects is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Effective stakeholder engagement and business communication skills.
- Expertise in analyzing and documenting processes specific to P&C insurance.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for datadriven decisionmaking.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
