Job Description
To provide comprehensive financial and accounting insights through data analysis and reporting. The MIS Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) generating accurate and timely reports and supporting the finance and accounts team in strategic decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with finance and accounts team members as well as other departments to gather requirements and provide insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect clean and validate financial and operational data from various sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends anomalies and potential areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular and adhoc reports including financial statements budgets forecasts and variance analysis.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create clear and impactful reports and dashboards.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct indepth financial analysis to understand business performance and identify costsaving opportunities.
- Prepare financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decisionmaking.
Qualifications and Skills:
- MBA in Finance or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience with financial software (e.g. ERP systems accounting software).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Should be able to understand Financial Statements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) an Added Advantage
