POSITION: Junior QC Engineer
We required this position for our group company VILAS transcore Limited Ganapatpura(Karjan) 20 KMS from Vadodara Vilas Transcore specializes in the manufacturing and supply of components for power distribution and transmission sector .
Job Summary:
The Junior QC Engineer is responsible for assisting in ensuring the quality and performance standards of products and services. They perform testing inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. This role involves closely working with senior engineers and the quality control team
to identify and resolve any quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections as well as functional tests on finished products.
- Document results from inspections and tests in an accurate and organized manner
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality control documentation including test reports inspection logs and nonconformance reports (NCR).
- Track product quality issues defects and corrective actions.
- Assist in internal audits and external inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Help prepare audit reports and support auditors during assessments.
- Report any product deviations or nonconformities to the senior QC team.
- Assist in the analysis of defects or issues to help determine root causes.
- Support corrective actions and improvements to resolve quality problems.
- Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are met during all phases of production.
- Provide feedback on quality issues and suggest improvements to processes
- Use standard quality control tools and techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) root cause analysis and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA).
- Learn to operate quality testing equipment (e.g. hardness testers etc.).
- Continuously learn and improve knowledge of quality standards procedures and techniques.
- Participate in training programs to improve skills in quality control methods and technologies.
