Job Description
Overview
The Dynamics Functional Consultant plays a pivotal role in our organization by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions through Microsoft Dynamics 365. This position is critical for ensuring that organizational processes are optimized and that the implementation of Dynamics solutions meets the unique requirements of our clients. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of Dynamics 365 and related tools to understand business processes manage stakeholder expectations and deliver comprehensive solutions that enhance operational efficiency. As a key asset to the team the Dynamics Functional Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance facilitating trainings and executing system configurations that drive successful software adoption. Their contributions significantly affect the overall satisfaction of our clients and the success of our projects making this role significant in fostering longterm client relationships and delivering valueadded services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Configure application settings based on business specifications.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate user training sessions and workshops.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Support data migration and cleansing activities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within Dynamics 365.
- Work closely with developers to ensure alignment of functional requirements and technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation of configurations processes and workflows.
- Conduct system testing and validation of new functionalities.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance postimplementation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and Dynamics 365 updates.
- Perform change management activities to ensure transition success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Dynamics Functional Consultant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules.
- Experience with business process mapping and analysis.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with system integrations and data migrations.
- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Previous experience in ERP system implementations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customeroriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed.
