Overview
The Business Analyst in the Life Sciences domain plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights.
- Develop business models and process maps to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit information from stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all project activities.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the life sciences sector.
- Assist in the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies.
- Support change management initiatives within the organization.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain technical documentation and manage project artifacts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in life sciences initiatives.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process enhancement and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Life Sciences or related field.
- Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g. CBAP PMIPBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the life sciences domain.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA EMA or GxP.
- Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Strong problemsolving skills and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of clinical trials and drug development processes.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into business language.
