Overview
The Teamsite OpenText Specialist plays a critical role in managing and developing digital content solutions using OpenTexts TeamSite platform. This position is essential for organizations seeking to streamline their content management processes and enhance digital experiences. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring that content is published efficiently and meets organizational standards. The Teamsite OpenText Specialist will be responsible for optimizing the platforms capabilities leading initiatives for continuous improvement and providing technical support. As digital content continues to be a critical aspect of business operations this role will contribute to successful project outcomes improve user engagement and empower teams across the organization by implementing innovative content solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the OpenText TeamSite environment.
- Develop and implement content management strategies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and deploy web applications.
- Ensure the compliance of content standards and business guidelines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for TeamSite issues.
- Enhance frontend development using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Conduct user training and create documentation for TeamSite processes.
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in the integration of TeamSite with other enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience with OpenText TeamSite and Content Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with web design principles and UX/UI best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
