Job Description

Global Account Manager (Ecommerce)
The Global Account Manager (Ecommerce) plays a crucial role in driving business growth by managing key ecommerce accounts on a global scale. This position is integral to our organization as it combines strategic vision with operational execution to foster strong client partnerships while ensuring that our services align with the evolving demands of the ecommerce sector. The Global Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies being the main point of contact for clients and driving revenue through proactive relationship management and sales initiatives. This role requires an individual who can balance a comprehensive understanding of the ecommerce landscape with exceptional relationship management skills aiming for the highest level of client satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key global ecommerce clients.
  • Foster strong longterm relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to track performance and identify areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align services and innovations with client requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform account strategies.
  • Ensure systematic communication with clients regarding project developments and results.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining longterm relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand account portfolios and drive additional revenue streams.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to client teams regarding our ecommerce solutions.
  • Track project delivery and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Manage crossfunctional teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Gather and present feedback from clients to drive product improvements.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare forecasts and reports on account performance metrics for senior management review.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences to build further client relationships.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in account management preferably in the ecommerce sector.
  • Proven track record of managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce trends and platforms.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools and CRM software.
  • Ability to perform market analysis and pivot strategies accordingly.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on growth metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client meetings.
  • Experience in team leadership and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant ecommerce tools.
