Job Title: Director of Engineering (Cybersecurity Full Stack DevOps Cloud)
Employment Type: FullTime
Location: Pune India
Experience Required: 1520 years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Director of Engineering with a strong focus on cybersecurity to lead the engineering team for a productbased company in Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product development with a passion for building innovative secure and scalable solutions. This role requires a blend of expertise in cybersecurity full stack development DevOps cloud solutions and CMS/plugin management with a deep commitment to driving product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team in developing cuttingedge cybersecurity products ensuring secure highquality software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Architect and oversee product development combining cybersecurity best practices with full stack DevOps and cloudbased approaches.
- Collaborate closely with product management to ensure alignment of security requirements with product goals and user needs.
- Champion the integration of CMS platforms and plugins (WordPress Drupal Magento Shopify Joomla DNN Atlassian) to deliver tailored secure solutions.
- Implement DevOps processes for automation CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) optimizing operational efficiency.
- Drive a productcentric mindset encouraging innovation creativity and passion in every stage of the product development lifecycle.
- Build mentor and develop an engineering team that shares a commitment to product quality security and performance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity full stack technologies cloud security and product development to ensure bestinclass solutions.
- Represent the company in technical forums and engage with customers to gather feedback and improve product features.
Required Skills:
Cybersecurity (Primary Focus):
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity covering network security application security IAM data protection and threat management.
- Handson experience in implementing secure systems and leading security initiatives in a productbased environment.
Full Stack Development:
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (React Angular Vue.js) and backend systems (Node.js Python Java etc.).
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB and cloudnative solutions.
DevOps & Cloud:
- Experience with DevOps tools (Docker Kubernetes Jenkins Terraform) and cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security infrastructure automation and performance optimization.
CMS & Plugin Management:
- Handson experience with CMS platforms like WordPress Drupal Magento Shopify Joomla DNN and tools like Atlassian Jira.
- Expertise in customizing and integrating plugins and thirdparty tools into secure scalable products.
Leadership & Passion for Product Development:
- Proven ability to inspire and lead engineering teams with a passion for building outstanding products.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments to drive a productfocused culture.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance innovation product development timelines and cybersecurity requirements.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP CISM CEH) and cloud technologies are highly desirable.
Experience Required:
- 1520 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a cybersecurity leadership role at a productbased company.
- Extensive experience leading full stack development DevOps cloud and CMS/plugin integration as part of product development teams.
- A strong track record of delivering secure scalable and innovative products in fastpaced environments.
Work Location:
- Pune Office (Onsite).
