Job Description
Job Title: SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant
Experience Required: 5 Years
Location: India
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP WM a strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain operations and proven experience with endtoend SAP WM implementations. The SAP WM Consultant will be responsible for supporting enhancing and optimizing warehouse management solutions within SAP ensuring alignment with business needs and efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Support:
Lead and participate in the endtoend implementation of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions.
Configure SAP WM modules to meet the requirements of warehouse operations and logistics.
Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and map them to SAP WM functionality.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SAP WM with other SAP modules like SAP MM SAP SD and SAP EWM.
Process Optimization:
Evaluate current warehouse processes and recommend enhancements or automation opportunities.
Develop solutions for optimizing picking packing staging and storage processes.
Implement best practices to improve efficiency accuracy and overall warehouse productivity.
User Support & Training:
Provide technical and functional support to end users.
Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
Conduct training sessions for users on SAP WM functionalities and warehouse procedures.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations customizations and processes.
Develop custom reports for monitoring warehouse activities inventory levels and performance metrics.
System Integration & Testing:
Conduct system and integration testing to validate functionality and performance.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that all changes and enhancements meet project requirements.
Required Skills:
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management) functionalities including putaway picking transfer orders and inventory management.
Proficiency in SAP integration with MM SD and EWM.
Knowledge of RFID barcoding and other warehouse automation tools.
Handson experience with SAP configuration customization and troubleshooting.
Project Management & Communication:
Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
ProblemSolving & Analytical Thinking:
Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues perform root cause analysis and suggest effective solutions.
Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Familiarity with thirdparty WMS solutions and integration.
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications:
SAP WM certification is preferred.
