Job Description
Position Overview:
The Lead QA Automation Tester is responsible for leading the design development and implementation of automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of software products. This role requires collaboration with crossfunctional teams including Project Managers BA Managers Product Owners Design teams DBA teams and Dot Net Managers to deliver highquality software solutions.
Job Description:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to comprehend software requirements and technical specifications.
Lead the creation and review of comprehensive test strategies test plans and test cases tailored for mobile automation testing.
Prioritize test cases suitable for automation to optimize testing efforts.
Architect develop and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks utilizing industrystandard tools and technologies such as Selenium Appium JUnit TestNG and Cucumber.
Establish and maintain a scalable automation architecture to accommodate evolving application changes and requirements.
Create efficient reliable and reusable automated test scripts covering functional regression integration and performance testing aspects.
Execute automated tests meticulously and analyze results to pinpoint defects inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks.
Debug and troubleshoot automated test script failures collaborating closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid and reliable feedback on software quality.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate test deployment execution and reporting processes fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Spearhead the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks to bolster efficiency maintainability and scalability of automated tests.
Implement and advocate best practices for code organization data management and configuration management within the framework.
Thoroughly document and report defects discovered during testing utilizing appropriate defect tracking tools to ensure comprehensive defect management.
Work closely with developers and quality assurance teams to validate defect fixes and ensure successful closure of issues.
Maintain meticulous documentation of automated test scripts frameworks and processes ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Produce clear and concise test reports encapsulating test coverage results and potential risks comprehensively.
Perform API testing using Postman.
Perform performance testing to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):

Test Framework Development:
Develop and enhance test automation frameworks.
Implement best practices for code and data management.
Defect Management:
Document and report defects using defect tracking tools.
Validate defect fixes and ensure successful issue closure.
Test Documentation:
Maintain documentation of test scripts frameworks and processes.
Produce test reports covering test coverage and results.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead and mentor junior and midlevel QA testers.
Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Innovation and Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Propose and implement innovative testing solutions.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed technical documentation.
Maintain uptodate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines milestones and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations.
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements.
Conduct postimplementation reviews to identify lessons learned.
