Job Description

Job Title: Manager UK YearEnd Accounts
Location: Mumbai(Work from Office)
Working Hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Salary Range: 8 12 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our UK YearEnd Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in the UK accounting field and a proven track record of managing teams of 8 to 10 members. This role requires working entirely from our office to ensure seamless collaboration and communication with the team and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage mentor and motivate a team of 8 to 10 accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals and deadlines.
  • YearEnd Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation and finalization of UK yearend accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards (UK GAAP).
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve financial statements reports and reconciliations prepared by the team.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding yearend accounts addressing inquiries and providing expert advice.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with UK financial regulations and ensure the team adheres to all legal and compliance requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training sessions and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations set objectives and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Reporting: Prepare managerial reports for senior leadership on team performance project status and other key metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. A Masters degree or professional qualifications such as ACCA ACA or CIMA are highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in the UK accounting field specifically in yearend accounts preparation and management.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams of 8 to 10 members.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK GAAP financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and tools commonly used in UK accounting practices (e.g. Sage QuickBooks Xero).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to team management.
  • Work Ethic: High level of professionalism integrity and commitment to excellence.
