Job Description
Position Title: Director of Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory
Salary: $110000 annually
Schedule: Fulltime 36 hours per week Variable Shifts
Job Overview:
Join us as the Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory where you will lead a team dedicated to delivering highquality cardiovascular care. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the cath lab operations ensuring exceptional care standards and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the cardiovascular catheterization lab ensuring efficient and effective patient care and workflow.
- Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals fostering an environment that encourages growth learning and exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless integrated care that enhances patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage compliance with regulatory standards including The Joint Commission (TJC) and state regulations ensuring all practices meet or exceed required standards.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance programs including performance improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical protocols.
- Develop and manage the departments budget optimizing resource allocation and financial performance.
- Engage in strategic planning for the cath lab setting goals that align with the hospitals vision and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Florida or a recognized compact licensure agreement.
- BSN required; MSN or related healthcare administration degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of directorlevel experience in an acute care cath lab setting. Candidates with 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a cath lab will also be considered.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively engaging and building relationships with team members management and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of improving service delivery and patient care through the implementation of innovative practices and technologies.
