Job Title: RN Womens Services
Location: Brenham TX
Salary: $32 $53 per hour depending on experience
SignOn Bonus: $10000 for RNs with 2 years of experience
Shift Details:
- Shift: 12Hour Nights
- Days Per Week: 3
- Total Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM
- Shift End Time: 07:00 AM
- SelfScheduling: Available
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in Womens Services you will assist new mothers throughout the labor delivery and postpartum processes. You will work in a supportive and familycentered environment ensuring that both mothers and newborns receive exceptional care. This fulltime night shift position offers the opportunity to be a part of a dedicated team that supports the health and wellbeing of the Brenham community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality nursing care to mothers and newborns in the labor and delivery suites.
- Support mothers and babies in a couplet care environment promoting family bonding and confidence in new mothers.
- Monitor and assess the health of both mother and baby ensuring safety and comfort throughout the birthing and postpartum process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Educate new mothers on postpartum care and newborn care providing guidance and support during their recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active and valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Experience in Womens Services particularly in labor and delivery postpartum or couplet care is preferred.
