Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Solutions Technician
Pay: Starting at $17.50 per hour and it goes up to $21.00 per hour after 120 days.
Role Overview:
Step into a pivotal role within the operating room as a Surgical Solutions Technician where you play a crucial part in supporting surgeons and OR staff ensuring seamless surgical procedures and superior patient care. This role is designed for individuals committed to excellence in healthcare service and who thrive in dynamic fastpaced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an integral member of the OR team excelling in both preparation and execution of surgical procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of sterile practice to ensure patient safety and efficient procedure flow.
- Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment ensuring operational readiness.
- Collaborate closely with hospital staff and fellow team members to provide exceptional service and support.
- Responsibility for the cleaning disinfection and proper maintenance of endoscopes and surgical instruments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; further education or technical training preferred.
- Must obtain CRCST Certification within 90 or 120 days of employment; being a CST is a plus.
- At least 1 year of OR experience is preferred alongside strong customer service skills.
- Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage on a rotational basis including weekends holidays and oncall shifts.
- A proven track record of leadership effective communication and team collaboration.
