Job Description
Position Title: Surgical Scrub Tech (Preferably Certified)
Location: Fort Myers FL
Start Date: ASAP
Facility Hours: Monday Friday 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Schedule:
- Hours per Week: 37.5 hours
- Shift Hours: Vary from 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
- No Nights Weekends Holidays or OnCall
Facility Overview:
- Number of OR Suites: 4 (focused on Orthopedics and Spine)
- Surgeries per Month: 200300 (1025 daily)

- Second interview (Video or onsite with the Facility Administrator and Director of Nursing)
Job Description:
The Surgical Scrub Technician (or Certified Scrub Technician) is an integral member of the surgical team collaborating closely with surgeons anesthesia personnel registered nurses and other surgical staff to provide highquality patient care. The Scrub Technician is responsible for preparing the operating room assisting during surgeries and ensuring a sterile environment before during and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery.
- Ensure that all surgical equipment is functioning properly.
- Support the surgical team in adhering to protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in patient care by assisting with positioning draping and prepping patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that surgeries run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Education/Experience:
- Oneyear certificate from a college or technical school.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Orthopedics.
- Required Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) CPR certification.
- Special Requirements:
- Must be able to work variable hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the centers daily surgery schedule.
