Hourly Rate: $25 $37.98 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for the day shift. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring accurate results and providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to protocols ensuring highquality imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to achieve the desired imaging results.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of radiologic equipment.
- Follow safety protocols including infection control and radiation protection measures.
- Accurately document imaging results in the patients records.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in diagnostic assessments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with departmental policies.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed to practice Radiologic Technology in the State of Texas.
- CPR Certified (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
Qualifications:
- Experience in radiologic technology or related medical imaging fields.
- Knowledge of various imaging equipment and techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and healthcare teams.
