Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Temple TX
Shift: 8 HR Days (MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours
Hourly Rate: $33 $48 per hour
SignOn Bonus: $10000 (external candidates only)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Tech to join our team. This position will perform highquality ultrasound procedures utilizing advanced imaging techniques. As a member of the imaging team you will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and accuracy of diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multiple modality ultrasound procedures using various techniques and equipment.
- Identify and define abnormalities adjust examination scope as necessary and correlate diagnostic test results with anatomy and function.
- Assist physicians during complex procedures by performing ultrasound studies.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures obtain clinical history and explain the purpose of the examination.
- Record statistics maintain daily operations of the ultrasound lab and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Act as a resource to staff physicians and students regarding ultrasound equipment techniques and protocols.
- Work with the ultrasound team to ensure quality processes and adherence to protocols.
- Implement evolving protocols and ensure adherence to system standards.
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment by performing quality checks and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program or 2 years of experience beyond the minimum qualifications.
- Experience: 2 years of experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Must have two of the following certifications:
- ACS ARRTS ARRTVI MSK
- RCCS RCS
- RDCS RDCSPE
- RDMSAB RDMSBR RDMSFE RDMSOB RDMSPS
- RVS RVT
