Job Description

Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Tulsa OK

Shift: 8Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM 3:00 PM) 5 shifts per week 40 hours per week

Salary Range: Up to $44.88 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in Tulsa OK. In this role you will assist the Laboratory Director in overseeing laboratory operations ensuring compliance with all Division and Corporate policies as well as local state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily laboratory operations and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
  • Assist in compiling data and preparing reports for regulatory compliance and accreditation.
  • Train mentor and evaluate laboratory personnel promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Laboratory Director to implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and enhance laboratory efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or Physical Science OR an Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with more than 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
  • Laboratory certification from an accredited laboratory certification program (CLS MLS MT MLT or equivalent).
  • 5 years of clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist Clinical Laboratory Scientist Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • At least 1 year of progressive leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations quality control and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience managing laboratory staff and coordinating workflow.
  • Proficiency in laboratory information systems and relevant technology.
