Job Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient Acute Care)
Location: Honolulu Hawaii
Salary: $99200.00 to $109990.00
Shift Information: Day shift
Job Summary:
- Part of a Level I Trauma Center reverified by the American College of Surgeons offering comprehensive care from prevention through rehabilitation.
- Recognized as the top hospital in Hawaii for eleven consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report.
- Recipient of The Leapfrog Groups A grade for Hospital Safety and a fivestar rating from CMS.
- Provide screening diagnosis and treatment for patients with speech language cognition and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate functional needs for a safe patient discharge.
Qualifications:
- Current Hawaii State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification and CPR certification at the BLS/HCP level.
- Completion of a FEES course within six months of hire if not already completed.
- Experience in acute care hospitals rehabilitation centers or outpatient settings.
- Clinical experience with FEES and MBS ImP.
- Specialized skills in adult swallowing communication and cognitive rehabilitation.
