Setting: Elementary School

Weekly Commitment: Full Time

Position Responsibilities:

Craft and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide individualized and smallgroup instruction to meet the needs of diverse ELL students.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support English language development across content areas.
Implement standards for student behavior to ensure a safe secure and effective learning environment.
Regularly assess student progress and modify instructional strategies to support ongoing language development.
Prepare and implement instructional plans for English Language Learners (ELL) in alignment with school and state requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement and have earned a bachelor s degree from an accredited institution. Successful experience in teaching ESL or a related role is essential along with expertise in supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
