Job Description
Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Indianapolis Indiana
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Shift Notes: Monday through Friday no weekends
Salary: $37.00/hr
Job Overview:
The Sonographer will provide mobile ultrasound services in various healthcare settings including nursing homes home care facilities and other locations. This role requires diagnostic imaging expertise professionalism and strong organizational skills to ensure highquality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process ultrasounds using portable equipment and transmit results to Radiologists.
- Selfdispatch or coordinate with the dispatch department to manage caseloads.
- Verify patient identity and exam orders for accuracy before conducting procedures.
- Communicate efficiently with facility staff and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Maintain and care for sonographic equipment and company vehicles.
- Complete required documentation and scan billing paperwork daily.
