Job Description
Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Bloomington Minnesota
Rate: $40.00 per hour
Shift: Days Monday through Friday 1st Shift
Hours/Day: 8
Role Overview:
Provide highquality ultrasound services across various settings including nursing homes home care facilities and correctional facilities. This position involves significant travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate portable sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasounds as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure clinically diagnostic technically competent images are obtained and transmitted digitally to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Manage selfdispatching or coordinate with dispatch to maintain an efficient caseload schedule.
- Strict adherence to medical ethics and maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Regular communication with dispatch management and healthcare facility staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain and ensure proper care of vehicle and sonographic equipment.
- Conduct and document mandatory physical examinations and annual infection control training.
