Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Palatka Florida
Shift: Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) Rotating Weekends
Shift Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Salary: $27.42 $38
Job Summary
As a CT Tech you will deliver excellent customer service and patient care ensuring respect dignity and empathy in all interactions. Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying physician orders and performing CT examinations accordingly.
- Conducting invasive procedures following established protocols.
- Ensuring patient comfort and addressing their needs.
- Completing tube warmups and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- Documenting accurate patient information and performing computer functions.
- Stocking supplies and notifying supervisors of inventory needs.
Qualifications
- One year of CT experience preferred (acute care experience not required).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.
