Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Savannah GA
Shift Type: Day (Rotating Weekends)
Shift Start Time: 7:00 AM
Shift End Time: 5:00 PM
Shifts Per Week: 4
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $30.33 to $42.47 depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role you will perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist ensuring highquality scans that are critical to patient care. Under the direction of the medical imaging management team you will also be responsible for scheduling patient transport and maintaining imaging inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate diagnostic equipment verify images and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for each procedure.
- Ensure the production of highquality CT scans to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Perform CT exams on various body parts promptly and effectively.
- Complete appropriate history forms and technologist exam sheets for each procedure.
- Start I.V.s and check labs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program required.
- RT certification from ARRT required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology and CT Technologist preferred.
- NonCT certified candidates with strong acute care Xray or similar experience may be considered for training.
