Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Englewood Colorado
Shift Details: Variable
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $32.94 to $50
Job Overview:
As a CT Technologist you will play a vital role in the diagnostic process by producing detailed images of patients internal organs and tissues using advanced CT scanning technology. You will work independently and alongside a skilled medical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and image quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret physicians scanning instructions and prepare patients for CT procedures by positioning them correctly and adjusting immobilization devices as needed.
- Operate CT scanning equipment adjusting exposure settings to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Administer contrast materials when necessary following safety guidelines.
- Perform CT scans on patients of all ages from newborn to late adulthood ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Maintain solid knowledge of all CT procedures and communicate effectively with patients and the medical team.
Requirements:
- ARRT(RT)(CT) certification required along with CE compliance.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Graduate of a 24month AMAapproved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified by ARRT
- Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience required.
- CT experience preferred.
