Job Description
Title: Project Manager Networking
Duration:6 months contract to start
Location: Folsom New Jersey
Days (2 days if required )
Pay : $48 on W2
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in networking to lead the planning execution and successful delivery of highpriority projects. This role involves managing multiple projects budgets vendors and stakeholder relationships while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee endtoend networking projects balancing scope schedule and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Budget Management: Develop track and report on project budgets maintaining financial oversight and ensuring cost efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors to deliver services on time and within budget while resolving any vendorrelated issues.
- Multiple Project Management: Prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously effectively delegating tasks and allocating resources.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders ensuring consistent communication and alignment across all parties.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and address projectrelated conflicts to maintain timelines and stakeholder relationships.
- Interface with IT: Collaborate with IT teams to incorporate technical requirements security protocols and networking infrastructure into project plans.
- Security and Operations Expertise: Leverage knowledge of security standards and networking best practices to meet operational and security requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation including progress updates risk assessments and change logs for stakeholder reporting.
Experience:
- 35 years of project management experience in networking or IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in budget and vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and resolve conflicts effectively.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking infrastructure (e.g. LAN/WAN cloud VPNs firewalls) and security best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Jira Trello).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
