Job Description
They are currently seeking a detailoriented Estimator / Project Manager to support their growing operations. This role involves identifying and developing project opportunities managing bid schedules and providing accurate cost estimates for commercial lighting projects. The ideal candidate will engage with contractors prepare detailed project quotes and coordinate with sales support to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and track project opportunities using Dodge reports and other industry sources.
- Maintain an organized bid schedule for the sales team.
- Order project plans and specifications perform plan takeoffs and develop bills of materials.
- Engage with contractors via plan holders lists and provide accurate project quotes.
- Follow up on submitted bids to secure business.
- Prepare Adobe PDF product submittals and project documentation.
- Coordinate project execution with sales support personnel to ensure seamless delivery.
Qualifications
- 25 years of experience estimating commercial lighting projects (open to junior candidates).
- Experience in electrical contractor sales is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
