RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience & ERP Knowledge:
Minimum 2 years experience in Inventory Management.
Should have worked with Jewellery software ERPs.
Inward Stock Management:
Check all inward stock (new purchase/repairs/stock alteration/raw material purchase/samples) for invoice value weights and conduct quality inspections.
Ensure all products are BIS hallmarked have HUID and Diamond certifications (verify grades and weights mentioned in certifications).
Logistics Monitoring:
Monitor and document logistics of outward stock (repairs alterations samples raw material photoshoots approvals s testing gold melting).
Track and take acknowledgment from the recipient for the stock sent.
Stay updated on all regulatory norms related to:
Quality standards for jewellery
Local/national/international logistics processes
Compliance costs related to jewellery certifications.
Data Entry & Tagging:
Monitor stock data entry with invoices (by pieces weights and value) and check for errors before tagging and display.
Ensure each product is correctly priced and tagged as per its positioning in the store.
Website Price Monitoring:
Inspect and monitor all product prices listed on the website.
Periodically update the webtag sheet prices and coordinate with the tech team to ensure timely updates.
Stock Custodianship:
Act as a cocustodian of all stock inside the store.
Monitor opening/closing stock daily.
Inventory Manager Support:
Ensure full support to the Inventory Manager.
Develop practical systems to ensure administration and discipline.
Confidentiality & Security:
Maintain business secrecy and not disclose/divulge/publish any confidential or secret information concerning the business or finances of the company during or after the tenure of employment.
Avoid taking any drawings designs models or records out of the retail premises unless authorized by the company.
Random Inventory Checks:
Perform random physical checks of inventory.
Ensure daily reporting to Head Office in the prescribed formats.
Timely Delivery & System Improvement:
Actively plan and improvise systems to ensure:
Timely delivery of jewellery
Availability of accurate inventory information.
Document Management:
Manage and organize all documents and bills.
Ensure documents are neatly filed and readily available for management and auditors.
Support Team Guidance:
Material Purchase & Storage:
Client Closures:
Attend to clientrelated tasks including:
Payments from clients
Packaging
Data entry.
Proven experience in inventory management and handling jewellery ERP software.
Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
Excellent organizational skills for documentation reporting and system improvements.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Team player with strong communication and coordination skills.
