Description
The Student Account Analyst (Active Students) is responsible for monitoring student accounts by auditing reviewing and processing the student ledger card in the following key areas: Title IV and endofloanperiod credit balances schedule gaps and leave of absence for active students. Additional responsibilities include posting funds processing tuition adjustments and monitoring student intent to return for all student accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and review Title IV payments for active student accounts to ensure all credit balances are cleared within 14 days.
- Audit and review active student accounts prior to the end of the loan period to ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Audit and review active student accounts for Scheduled Gaps and Leave of Absence statuses to confirm fund eligibility and timely completion of refunds to meet Federal requirements.
- Monitor active student accounts to ensure compliance with the 14day Student Intent to Return Federal Regulation and review fund eligibility.
- Address and resolve regulatory compliance issues identified during daily account reviews.
- Accurately and promptly post all funds to meet internal policies procedures and Federal requirements.
- Review and process tuition adjustments in accordance with internal policies and Federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of finance or business experience required; 24 years of banking or accounting experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Financial Aid experience is helpful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Selfmotivated and capable of thriving in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with Campus Management systems is helpful.
- Flexibility to work assigned hours including evenings and weekends as necessary to complete job responsibilities.
This is a fulltime position that requires availability for day evening and weekend shifts.
