Job Description
Job Title: SAP Technical Consultant II
Location Auburn hills MI (Local candidates only)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Technical Consultant
Works in a crossfunctional implementation team and is responsible for detail technical design development focusing on design coding and implementation
Produce scalable and flexible highquality code that satisfies functional and nonfunctional requirements and aligns with Volkswagen global standards
Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended IT and Business team members
Supports Functional and Technical consultants to design and implement System solutions
Collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required
Perform and coordinate Unit testing Integration testing and Performance testing and support User acceptance testing
Develop configurable software services that support applications integrates to enterprise services
Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended team members from other applications
Author detailed design specifications and lead reviews to conform to software development processes.
Handle end to end project technical design independently and provide guidance to team members.
Perform analysis of critical issues for the projects and provide expertise towards resolution.
Perform highlevel analysis of any new requirements/change requests to the solution from a technofunctional standpoint.
Provide direction to development teams for custom solution realization and participate as necessary in coding testing documentation golive and maintenance support activities.
Analyze the impact of any new requirements on the existing solution.
Estimation of efforts for issueresolution and change requests.
Guide and influence team members to accomplish the teams technical and schedule goals.
Work closely with other IT teams SAP teams and external partners to ensure successful project completion.
Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment and influence others that impact success
Possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and convey ideas to crossfunctional technical and nontechnical teams
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Handson experience in the following:
Reports
Enhancements
Interfaces ( EDI/ALE/RFC/BAPI/SOA/OData/Web Services and file based )
Forms( Smart form/Adobe Forms/SAP Scripts)
Conversion
WebDynpro
ABAP Objects and ALV
ABAP debugging and SAP Transport management
SAP Archiving experience is an added advantage
SAP Application Testing tool (Worrksoft) knowledge/Experience is a plus
Experience in MM/SD/FICO/LE/PS/APO development is required
UNIQUE SKILLS
Experience in onboarding EDI Vendors in to SAP system
Technical knowledge of TSIM (TradeSync Integration Manager) is preferred
