Job Description
Position: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Home Health
Start Date: 1/6/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8:00 AM 4:30 PM 8
Shift Notes: 8hr days 40hr guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Every 46 weekends/Holiday Coverage Required if needed
OnCall Requirements: None

Exemption forms are available in Downloadable Forms (Both forms REQUIRE Provider/Religious Leader Signatures) or please ask your delivery team for documents. IF APPROVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY.
** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

THIS IS A HOME HEALTH NEED!
The speech/language pathologist is responsible for providing speech therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patients comprehensive plan of care.
Submission Requirements
- 2 years minimum SLP Home Care experience
- A valid Drivers License is required for this need
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/assistance
- Acute care experience preferred
- Master or Doctorate Degree required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Clinical Fellow candidates accepted
- MA SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST LICENSE REQUIRED
- Knowledge of and familiarity with rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to language/communication aids devices and wheelchairs.
- Traveler candidate must have their vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
