Job Description

Job Title: Civil Engineer Land Development

Location: Tampa FL
Job Type: FullTime

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with a focus on land development design. The role involves designing stormwater systems paving grading and utility infrastructure as well as preparing comprehensive plans calculations and reports. This position requires close collaboration with team members clients and public agencies to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design land development projects including stormwater grading paving and utility systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments.
  • Prepare detailed project plans calculations and reports.
  • Estimate project costs and manage budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and codes.
  • Identify and solve projectrelated challenges presenting solutions effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams clients and public agencies to meet project goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Licensure: Registered P.E. or ability to obtain within 3 years.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in land development design including site layouts grading stormwater design utility design and erosion/sediment control.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
    • Excellent communication problemsolving and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Officebased position with occasional site visits.
