Job Description
Job Title: Snowflake Administrator
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor the Snowflake environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Identify and resolve performance issues in the Snowflake platform.
- Design implement and manage data integration and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts IT teams and management to support business objectives.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and manage rolebased access control (RBAC).
- Monitor system performance and maintain data quality assurance processes.
- Automate workflows and processes using scripting languages like Python.
- Provide documentation and reporting to support system maintenance and project outcomes.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Expertise in cloud technologies.
- Understanding and application of data warehousing concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of the Snowflake platform including SnowSQL.
- Experience in performance tuning within Snowflake environments.
- Familiarity with security and compliance in data warehousing solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python.
- Strong problemsolving expertise in complex technical environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Handson experience in system monitoring and maintenance.
- Knowledge of data quality assurance processes.
- Experience managing ETL pipelines.
- Implementation and management of rolebased access control (RBAC).
- Project management skills.
- SnowPro Core Certification.
- SnowPro Advanced: Administrator Certification.
- Proficiency in Snowflakes advanced features including SnowSQL.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and their integration with Snowflake.
- Experience with cloudbased data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows.
- Expertise in scripting languages like Python for automation.
- Clear and concise communication skills to document and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards in cloud environments.
