Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning design and implementation of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems (4kV 25kV).
- Manage a team of engineers technologists and support staff providing mentorship technical guidance and performance management.
- Oversee project delivery ensuring designs meet client specifications industry standards budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with utility companies municipalities and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients identifying opportunities for business development and growth.
- Prepare and review technical reports proposals budgets and project schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes improve quality and enhance team efficiency.
- Stay uptodate with advancements in power distribution technologies regulations and industry best practices.
Qualification:
- 8 years of progressive experience in electrical power distribution engineering including 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of utility standards CSA IEEE and other relevant codes.
- Experience managing projects involving load flow studies voltage regulation fault analysis and protection coordination.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with EGBC (or eligible for registration).
- Proven ability to manage teams projects and budgets effectively.
- Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD MicroStation CYME and ETAP.
- Strong communication problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
