Job Description
Fire Officer:
A Fire Officer supervises and leads firefighting teams ensuring fire safety emergency response and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Direct fire crews during emergency and nonemergency situations.
- Emergency Response: Oversee firefighting rescue operations and disaster management.
- Training: Conduct drills and ensure personnel are skilled in firefighting techniques and safety protocols.
- Fire Prevention: Inspect buildings for fire hazards enforce safety regulations and promote awareness.
- Incident Management: Assess emergencies make critical decisions and coordinate with other agencies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure firefighting equipment is operational and properly maintained.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on incidents training and inspections.
