Job Description
Position: Devops Engineer (AWS Java Kubernetes Terraform)
Location: Venda do Pinheiro Lisbon Portugal
Work regime: Fulltime & Flexible hybrid
- 1st month of work: once a week in the office (20% onsite)
- After the first month: 1 to 2 days a month in the office (onsite regime up to 5%)

Overview / Summary:
Our client is one of the leading parcel companies in Portugal with an extensive network of agencies and Parcel Shops. It has established a stable European shipping network covering many countries and some US states. Over time it has expanded its portfolio with innovative solutions to serve the parcel market especially in ecommerce.
Responsibilities and Tasks of the Job
- Designing and architecting solutions for existing client facing applications as they are moved into cloud environments such as AWS;
- Designing and building tools as well as frameworks that support deploying and managing our platforms;
- Suggesting architecture improvements recommending process improvements;
- Supporting and troubleshooting scalability high availability performance monitoring backup and restores of different environments;
- Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions;
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains;
- Create maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines;
- Work with Cloud Infrastructure team on Cloud migration of applications.
Mandatory Skills
- Several years of experience as DevOps Engineer;
- Strong development background in Java;
- Strong experience with AWS;
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform;
- Ansible knowhow;
- Good English skills both spoken and written;
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on companys success;
- Team Player;
- Available for travelling abroad.
