Plant Manager/Supervisor
Role Overview: we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager/Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. The role requires a handson leader who can manage the shop floor directly and optimize all aspects of production processes. Preference is for a candidate who can handle both plant management and supervisory responsibilities but the company is open to hiring two separate individuals if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct management of operations on the shop floor.
- Oversee production processes and ensure quality standards are met.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
- Supervise a team of skilled workers and ensure a safe and productive working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve production timelines and reduce waste.
- Address production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience and leadership expertise in manufacturing.
- Handson presence on the shop floor.
- Knowledgeable in all facets of manufacturing including CNC equipment grinding and welding.
- Comfortable working with various CNC machines including lathes and mills.
- Familiarity with Cincinnati Grinders.
- Basic knowledge of welding used in assembly processes.
