Role overview:
In this role youll develop and maintain our main mobile and web applications ensuring they are robust scalable and userfriendly.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain distributed systems and microservices using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQLto power our web and mobile applications.
- Work on highly scalable cloudbased solutions using AWS (Lambda DynamoDB S3 etc.).
- Collaborate withfrontend developers to build seamless user experiences using React.
- Ensure system reliability and performance while implementing best practices in software design.
- Write clean maintainable and testable code with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
Actively contribute to a small and agile team.
Required skills and qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Computer Science and have at least 5 years of experience in fullstack development roles with minimum of3 years as a backend.
- Proficient in backend development with Node.js.
- Expert in TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS and distributed systems (serverless architecture microservices).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API and GraphQLdesign and integration.
- Strong knowledge with relational and nonrelational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
- Experience working on SaaS apps is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English both speaking and writing.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts and collaborate effectively with the team.
