Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carveout project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project SAP and nonSAP systems will be partially rebuilt adapted and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization.
To support this initiative we are seeking an experienced Data Migration Manager for SAP and nonSAP Systems. This is a fulltime role with an occasional onsite presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 612 months with the possibility of extension.

Tasks
- Develop and execute the data migration strategy for the carveout project ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Analyze the existing data landscape to identify requirements challenges and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and oversee the endtoend data migration process including extraction transformation validation and loading.
- Collaborate with technical teams business stakeholders and external vendors to define data migration requirements and timelines.
- Establish data quality standards and implement validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency during migration.
- Coordinate with SAP and nonSAP system teams to ensure data compatibility and integration.
- Monitor migration progress troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Document all processes tools and methodologies to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in the data migration effort.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8 years) in data migration data management or related roles with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in SAP data structures (e.g. S/4HANA ECC) and nonSAP system environments.
- Strong understanding of data governance quality assurance and validation processes.
- Experience working on largescale carveouts mergers or transformations within the automotive or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
