Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Basingstoke Hampshire
Reporting to: Head of Hardware Development

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics/Hardware Design Engineer to join their innovative team. In this role you will be responsible for designing testing and debugging hardware components and systems. You will play a key part in ensuring the products meet performance cost and time goals while working closely with the Head of Hardware Development and other teams to achieve optimal safe and costeffective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design test and debug electronic hardware
  • Develop and implement hardware specifications and standards
  • Capture schematics and design PCBs
  • Collaborate with product managers QA and manufacturing teams to ensure compatibility and functionality
  • Lead project planning and development phases as needed
  • Document designs present results and assist junior engineers

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in PCB and electronic hardware design
  • Proficient in ECAD PCB layout
