We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple audit engagements for clients across various industries. You will lead and mentor a team of auditors ensuring that audit projects are completed efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles regulatory requirements and a clientfocused approach.
How You Will Contribute:
- Monitor progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates.
- Review all workpapers financial statements and tax returns before submission to manager/principal for further review.
- Supervise assigned staff and incharges and ensure evaluation reports are completed.
- Develop client relationships and look for opportunities to provide additional services.
- Network with bankers investment brokers lawyers etc.
- Assist with managing training and developing staff.
- Other duties as assigned such as special projects including other agreed upon procedures set forth by clients.
Skills Must Have:
- US CPA designation or pursuing a CPA (eligible to sit with 150 credit hours)
- 5 years of experience in public accounting at a midmarket firm
- Manufacturing/distribution construction technology real estate professional services industry experience
- Experience in external audit tax returns and review of financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- CPA License required.
- 5 progressive years of experience in public accounting at a midmarket firm.
- DAILY ACCESS TO A VEHICLE to commute to and from clients.
