Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Digital Content Officer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 448.00 583.50 per Day
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing coordinating the digital content offer on our public facing website and internal intranet.
- Responsible for leading on coordinating and championing the development of existing website intranet and other Southwark websites.
- Work closely with colleagues in Digital Customer Experience and Technology Transformation to ensure the website is fit for purpose presenting recommendations for improvement and digital first to meet the objectives of the Digital and Technology and Customer Access Strategies.
- Responsible for project managing the implementation of a new website content and analytics software to ensure the organisation makes the best use for its residents businesses and visitors.
- Ensure the website is run as a project delivered to scope within budget and to agreed timeframes
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of latest technology trends and solutions
- Educated to college or Alevel or work experience of at least equivalent level
- Experience in a complex organisation with a strong customer focus with experience of supporting a large user base
- Experience of working with content management systems social media channels and other content systems
