Job Title: SAP ISU Device Management Consultant
Job Summary:The SAP ISU Device Management Consultant is responsible for implementing configuring and maintaining SAP ISU Device Management modules in a utility environment. This role involves working closely with business users to understand their requirements developing solutions within the SAP ISU framework and ensuring the smooth integration of the device management systems with other utilities and SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:-
Device Configuration & Management:
- Configure and implement the SAP ISU Device Management (DM) module including device types categories and configuration settings.
- Oversee device lifecycle management from installation to removal ensuring accurate data flow for billing and meter readings.

Metering & Data Collection:
- Set up and configure systems to collect consumption data from utility meters and devices.
- Ensure that the integration with the SAP ISU Billing module works seamlessly allowing accurate consumption data to be passed for billing purposes.

Integration with Other SAP Modules:
- Integrate Device Management with SAP ISU modules like Billing Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA) and Customer Service (CS).
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the integration between the device management system and external systems (e.g. meter reading devices or thirdparty tools) is functioning optimally.

Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide ongoing support for Device Managementrelated issues including troubleshooting data discrepancies device failures and integration errors.
- Work with the SAP team to resolve issues related to device data and ensure smooth operations.

System Enhancements & Updates:
- Participate in the development of system enhancements or custom solutions to address business requirements related to device management.
- Work with business analysts and project managers to ensure the device management processes are improved or optimized as required.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure the configuration and usage of the ISU device management systems comply with industry standards regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the generation of reports related to meter readings device status and other metrics for internal audits or regulatory bodies.

Training & Documentation:
- Train users on the proper use of device management features in SAP ISU.
- Provide detailed documentation for system configurations processes and troubleshooting steps.
- SAP ISU Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP ISU Device Management module including configurations for device types meter reading and integration with other SAP modules.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ABAP programming or other technical aspects of SAP systems (optional depending on role).
- Utility Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the utility industry (electricity gas water) and its processes related to meter management billing and data collection.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience managing or contributing to SAP ISU implementation or upgrade projects.
- Certifications: SAP certifications related to ISU or Device Management.
- Experience: Previous experience in a utility company or with a focus on SAP ISU implementations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP HANA Fiori apps or other advanced SAP technologies is a plus.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Engineering Business Administration or related fields.
