Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP CoreSD Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA. As part of our dynamic SAP consulting team you will play a critical role in the implementation configuration and optimization of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module within an S/4HANA environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working on SAP SD implementations and enhancements with a deep understanding of business processes related to ordertocash sales management and distribution processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on cuttingedge SAP S/4HANA technologies and contribute to business transformation projects for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP SD Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP SD module in S/4HANA including areas such as sales order processing pricing billing shipping and credit management.
Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and map business processes to SAP SD functionality. Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements within the Sales and Distribution domain.
S/4HANA Conversion: Assist with the conversion of legacy SAP ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA ensuring proper configuration and smooth migration of existing functionalities in the SD area.
Integration: Work on integrations between SAP SD and other modules like SAP MM (Materials Management) SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Customization & Enhancement: Provide customized solutions to meet specific client requirements including configuring user exits BAdIs (Business AddIns) and other enhancements.
Testing & Validation: Conduct testing for newly implemented processes ensuring that all functionality works as expected and meets business requirements. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any issues that arise.
Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct enduser training sessions to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the SAP SD system. Document configuration design decisions and project deliverables.
Support & Maintenance: Provide postimplementation support troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to the SAP SD module including monitoring and managing system performance and user queries.
Upgrade & Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvements. Assist with system upgrades patches and enhancements ensuring alignment with best practices and S/4HANA functionalities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 510 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with at least 2 fullcycle implementations of SAP SD ideally in an S/4HANA environment.
SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Indepth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture functionalities and innovations with specific experience in the SD module. Familiarity with new S/4HANA features such as embedded analytics Fiori applications and simplified data models is highly preferred.
Core SAP SD Knowledge: Strong understanding of key SD processes such as Sales Order Management Pricing Billing Credit Management Deliveries and Integration with Logistics Execution.
Business Process Understanding: Solid understanding of business processes in Sales and Distribution (OrdertoCash) including how SAP SD integrates with MM FICO WM and others.
Customization & Configuration: Handson experience with configuration in SAP SD including custom fields enhancements and report development. Expertise in pricing procedures output determination credit management and other SDspecific functionalities.
Tools & Methodologies: Familiar with SAP Activate Methodology Agile and Waterfall project management approaches. Experience in testing tools like SAP Solution Manager is a plus.
Clientfacing Skills: Ability to interact with business users understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP configuration and customization.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Certifications: SAP certification in SD (optional but preferred) and S/4HANA knowledge would be a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP Fiori apps and UI5 for enhancing the user experience in SAP SD processes.
Exposure to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or SAP Cloud Platform.
Experience with SAP EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) or integration with thirdparty systems.
Experience with S/4HANA migrations or conversions from ECC to S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile SAP projects.
