Lifestyles Manager
Nestled behind the Historic Chateau Lake Louise is a community of up to 750 colleagues. As a key Manager on the Colleague Services Team this position ensures the ongoing success of the Lifestyles Program for Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise colleagues; an essential component in the colleagues experience.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise employee Lifestyle Program
- Build community and connect employees with resources and amenities offered by Colleague Services the Hotel and the larger Bow Valley network
- Support and encourage community led events connecting key community members with tools and resources
- Effectively plan and create monthly event calendars for employee events. Organize activities such as; pub events craft nights karaoke sporting events and community workshops
- Work with the Colleague Services team and Lifestyles committee to ensure proper execution of all aspects of Lifestyle events including the planning setup facilitation and tear down of events
- Build and maintain relationships with the wider Bow Valley community to provide employees with every opportunity to explore the Rocky Mountains and access to the largest scope of resources
- Effectively optimize all internal communication & social channels execute and deploy communications campaigns through planning and content creation
- Maintain the Lifestyles website to ensure colleagues have access to uptodate information
- Management of Rockies Gym the onsite staff fitness facility ensuring a highquality wellness experience for employees
- Management of the Lifestyle Rental Program for both Summer and Winter rentals
- Collaborating with the General Manager of Colleague Residence and Services to effectively deploy the lifestyles committee budget
- Chair the Lifestyles Committee to collaborate and build community with key community members
- Management of the employee shuttle program
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health & safety initiatives
- Support hotel initiatives in partnership with the Talent & Culture team
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
- Experience with Microsoft suite required.
- Strong relationship management required.
- Alberta class 5 license required.
- Alberta class 4 license an asset.
- Passionate about an outdoor lifestyle and wellness.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently meet deadlines and make effective decisions.
- Ability to create event posters using programs such as Canva required.
- Experience with Photoshop InDesign PremierePro an asset.
- Previous event coordination or event management an asset.
- Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift.
- Ability to lift and move 25lbs occasionally.
