Job Description
1. Trading Operations
- Manage international CNF trading activities including sourcing sales and logistics for edible oil products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers buyers and freight forwarders globally.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the companys international trading footprint.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers and customers to maximize profitability.
- Conduct thorough market research to monitor trends pricing supplydemand dynamics and geopolitical factors affecting the edible oil industry.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on market positioning and trading strategies.
- Keep abreast of regulatory and trade policy changes in key markets.
- Oversee the endtoend logistics process including shipping customs clearance and delivery to destination ports.
- Ensure timely execution of contracts and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize freight and shipping costs.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to price volatility currency fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
- Use hedging instruments like futures and options to manage trading risks effectively.
- Ensure all trading activities comply with international trade laws and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with global clients and stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Regularly update clients on market trends product availability and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of trading activities contracts and financial transactions.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure all documentation complies with international trade standards and regulations.
