Job Title: Manual Tester (Capital Markets Domain)
Location: Mumbai (Parel) OR Gurgaon
Working Mode: 5 Days Office
Experience: 4 Years

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Manual Tester with handson experience in the Capital Markets domain. As part of our clients dynamic team you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems used in investment platforms with a focus on mutual funds profit/loss calculations and NAV. If you have strong testing experience in API testing Web APIs SQL and a background in the financial industry this is an exciting opportunity to enhance your career in the Capital Markets space.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Perform manual testing for brokerage and investment systems including Web APIs and API testing.
2) Validate MTM (MarktoMarket) processes and understand the dynamics of Net Asset Value (NAV) in mutual funds.
3) Analyze and test profit and loss calculations ensuring accurate reporting on all investment platforms.
4) Collaborate with developers business analysts and stakeholders to define testing requirements.
5) Conduct endtoend testing identifying issues early and ensuring quality standards are met.
6) Develop and execute test cases document bugs and provide clear test reports.
7) Use tools like Postman to perform API testing and execute SQL queries for database validation.
8) Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to improve the software quality and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1) 4 years of experience in Manual Testing within the Capital Markets or Brokerage domain.
2) Strong knowledge of API Testing including experience with tools like Postman.
3) Proficiency in SQL for validating backend data and executing complex queries.
4) Deep understanding of MTM (MarktoMarket) and NAV in mutual funds.
5) Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of how to calculate profit and loss from investments.
6) Knowledge of mutual fund products brokerage operations and financial reporting.
7) Ability to create and execute detailed test plans test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
8) Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
9) Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
NicetoHave:
1) Experience with automation testing or tools like Selenium.
2) Knowledge of capital markets products including equities derivatives and fixedincome securities.
3) Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
