Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and designers on a variety of buildings projects.
Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems including power distribution lighting fire alarm and lowvoltage systems.
Develop and review design concepts ensuring alignment with project budgets schedules and client requirements.
Coordinate with architects mechanical engineers structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
Ensure project deliverables such as drawings calculations and reports meet quality standards and client expectations.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Conduct site visits review installations and provide support during construction phases.
Participate in proposal development including responding to RFPs and presenting to potential clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify new business opportunities and ensure client satisfaction.
Stay current with industry codes standards and best practices in electrical engineering and sustainable design.



Qualifications

10 years of experience in electrical engineering for buildings projects.
P.Eng. designation in British Columbia or eligibility to obtain it.
Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects in the buildings sector.
Strong knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards (BCBC ASHRAE NFPA CSA).
Experience with power distribution lighting fire alarm and lowvoltage systems.
Excellent leadership project management and client communication skills.
Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is an asset.
